A legal disclaimer

1. Booking and Appointments

  • Booking Process: All appointments must be booked in advance through Instagram messages, Facebook messenger or email. A confirmation of your booking will be sent via email or text message upon successful reservation.

  • Appointment Details: When making a booking, you are required to provide accurate information such as your name, contact details, event date, location (if applicable), and any special requirements (e.g., allergies or skin sensitivities).

  • Booking Confirmation: Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit (if applicable) is paid, and we send a confirmation email or message.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • Cancellation by Client: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a FULL AMOUNT cancellation fee.

  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to show up for your appointment without prior notice, you will be charged the full amount for the service. I do not hold card details, therefor failure of payment due to no show will result in you unable to book in with me again until full payment is made 

  • Cancellation by Artist: In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative time or date. A full refund will be issued if we are unable to provide the service.

3. Payment

  • Payment Methods: We accept payment via bank transfer, contactless payments 7 cash.

  • Deposits: A deposit of £40 for bridal & £10 for all other services may be required to confirm your booking, particularly for group bookings or events. The deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to the total cost of services on the day of the appointment.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance for services must be paid in full at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.

4. Service Details

  • Duration of Service: The time required for makeup application will vary depending on the type of service requested (e.g., bridal makeup, special occasion makeup, etc.). We will provide an estimated time during the booking process.

  • Late Arrival: If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you; however, please note that a late arrival may result in a shortened service or additional fees to compensate for the lost time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment, and a cancellation fee may apply.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Skin and Allergy Information: It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities prior to your appointment. We are not liable for any allergic reactions or adverse effects caused by products used during the service.

  • Preparation: To ensure the best results, please arrive with a clean face and ensure any special requests or concerns are communicated ahead of time.

6. Health and Safety

  • Hygiene Practices: We maintain high standards of hygiene for all tools, equipment, and products used during our services. All makeup brushes and applicators are sanitized before each use.

  • Sanitary Conditions: We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe that the client's health or safety may be at risk (e.g., broken skin, infection, etc.). In such cases, any deposits paid may not be refunded.

7. Photography and Media

  • Client Photos: We may take before-and-after photos of your makeup look for promotional purposes or as part of our portfolio. If you do not wish to have your photos used, please inform us beforehand, and we will respect your request.

  • Client Permission: If photos or videos are taken during your appointment (e.g., for marketing, portfolio, or social media), we may ask for your permission to use them in our promotional materials. If you do not wish to have your images used, please inform us at the time of the service.

8. Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: We will make every reasonable effort to provide high-quality makeup services. However, we are not responsible for any dissatisfaction with the makeup results once the service is completed and the client has left the service area. We recommend that you provide feedback immediately after the service if you have any concerns or adjustments you would like made.

  • Damage or Loss: We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your property or belongings during the course of the service, including, but not limited to, clothing or accessories.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., weather, illness, emergency, or acts of God).

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the new Terms will apply from the date of publication.
